Discover TEC - Explore Technical Diving
This short experience is designed to introduce divers to the basic technical skills and procedures of diving in a confined water environment.
Curious about technical (Tec) diving, but unsure about pursuing a certification course? Discover Tec / Explore Technical Diving is a short confined water experience to introduce you to technical diving. You’ll wear all the additional Tec diving equipment and make a trial dive. Your Tec Instructor can introduce you to some basic techniques.
PROGRAM :
The course covers:
- General knowledge of diving physics, physiology for prolonged exposure, dive planning, and dive equipment setup
- Learning how to locate your equipment
- Stabilizing to establish proper buoyancy, performing a buoyancy check, and bubble check
- Donning and doffing a decompression tank
- Finning technique
- And much more, based on various criteria.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION :
The price includes everything required for certification (e-learning or manual, training sessions, certification).
- Duration: 1 day
- Age: 15 years old with parental consent or 18 years old
- Prerequisites: Mini Open Water – Level 1 (or equivalent) minimum of 10 logged dives
- Number of confined water dives: 1
- Details : Medical certificate issued by a doctor within the last 12 months
*Price based on a rate of 1 Eur = 51 Rs.
