Fish Identification

If you want to be the diver who answers rather than the one asking the questions, then take the Fish Identification specialty.
You will enjoy your dives even more when you recognize the creatures that you come across and can identify the main families of fish and their characteristics.
PROGRAM :
You will start by learning to recognize the categories of fish you will see. This will make it easier for you to reference the exact species after a dive.
For example, a butterfly fish in the Caribbean is similar in shape to a butterfly fish in Southeast Asia, but the colors and markings can be very different. If you know which family he belongs to, you’ll be able to more easily search for the local name or ask the local dive instructor about what you’ve seen. During your dives, you will learn:
- How to identify the characteristics of local families and species of fish.
- Techniques and strategies for studying fish.
