Discover TEC - Explore Technical Diving
This short experience is designed to introduce divers to the skills and procedures of technical diving.
Are you curious about technical diving (Tec) but not sure you want to commit to a certification course? Discover Tec – Explorer Technical Diving is a short introductory experience to technical diving. You’ll wear all the equipment required for technical diving.
PROGRAM :
The course consists of having :
- General concepts of diving physics, physiology for prolonged exposure, dive planning and equipment setup (sidemount or twin set)
- Locating equipment
- Breath control, performing an S-drill, bubble checks
- Donning and doffing a decompression cylinder
- Various finning techniques (frog kick, helicopter turn, back kick, etc.)
PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
The price includes everything necessary for certification (e-learning or manual, training sessions, certification).
- Duration: 1 day
- Age: 15 years with parental authorization or 18 years
- Prerequisites: Mini Open Water – Level 1 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 logged dives
- Number of dives: 2
- Details: Medical certificate from a doctor dated within the last 12 months
